Bathroom Project: Example 2

BATHROOM PROJECT: EXAMPLE 2

In this project, our brief was to update the old bathroom and replace with a shower to make the most of the space available.

Following our initial assessment, the refurbishment required a new plasterboard ceiling, in addition to plumbing work to channel the concrete floor for the shower tray waste.

The customer also requested a lit, recessed shelf above the toilet and bidet so additional electrics were required here alongside the ceiling downlights, backlit mirror and moving the pull cord light switch to the outside of the room.

The shower enclosure is from Lakes Showering Spaces who provide excellent after-sales service if required.

The metallic-effect wall tiles were from Rak Ceramics who have a wide variety of quality ranges and styles.

Malmo vinyl click flooring gives a real-wood effect with the benefit of being fully water resistant.

The rimless toilet and bidet is from the Metropolitan range at Rak Ceramics. This uniquely designed range is available in close coupled, back to wall or wall hung formats. Wall-hung was the preferred option here because it’s easy to clean around and underneath.

The sleek modular furniture is from Rak’s Joy range and available in a range of sizes and finishes.

The back-lit mirror is from HIB.
